Hezekiah G.P. Shani, MD, FACS is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon with his own private practice, and is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital, Bethesda North Hospital, Fairfield Medical Center, and Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Hezekiah G.P. Shani is a highly respected and experienced surgeon, having been in practice for over four decades. His acclaimed career in medicine began in 1970, when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the Makerere University Medical School Faculty of Medicine in Kampala, Uganda. Furthermore, he conducted his residency at Wake Forest University, the Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati, and the Hospital of Central Connecticut- New Britain General Campus. In addition, Dr. Shani received board certification in cardiothoracic surgery from the American Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. As a result, he is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) and fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
